Canoe Wilderness Tripping

This is is a two-session class: a Saturday indoors and a weekend outdoors. Participants will learn the skills and get the information needed to conduct a successful wilderness canoe trip with youth.

Course topics include:

  • canoe handling
  • packing to stay dry
  • wet weather fies
  • trip planning
  • group organiation
  • gear planning

If you are planning to visitng Northern Iter canoe Base or doa "50 Miler" via canoe this is a must course for you adult leaders.
