HAT: Snow Camping Awareness

Snow Camping!December 13, 2003 and January 17-18, 2004

HAT will be offering their two-session Snow Camping Awareness Course in December and January. If you have never hiked or camped in the snow then this is the course for you. Some of the items that will be discussed are planning, transportation, weather, clothing, food, shelter and medical issues. For those who attend a patch will be given at the completion of the course.

Dates: December 13, 2003 (Indoor) and
January 17-18, 2004 (Outdoor)

Cost: tba (include $25 deposit with application)

Location: Youth Leadership Training Center (Indoor) 1001 Davis Street, San Leandro
Outdoor Session to be announced

Time: 7:30 a.m. (Indoor registration) 8 am-4 pm instruction
Starting time for outdoor session to be announced at indoor session
