HAT: Wilderness First Aid
This course provides training and practice scenarios that simulate common wilderness accidents. It is especially designed for backpackers, hikers, skiers, and other wilderness travelers. This two-day course will prepare you to provide quality patient care in the wilderness or in urban emergency situations. The content is based on the position statements of the Wilderness Medical Society. It is a fast-paced and state-of-the-art course that spends a great deal of time working in individual and group scenarios. Upon successful completion of the entire course you will get a certificate of completion for 16 hours of Wilderness Emergency Care. For additional information contact Vic Karpenko at 925-462-0468. |
